After Brazil's quarter-final defeat at the World Cup in Qatar, Neymar Jr. said the scars of such defeats will linger for a long time.  However, the injury received in the World Cup is not completely healed, but the Brazil U-20 team can reduce it to some extent.

 Neymar-Vinicius-Richarlison's team reached the final round as the group champion in the 30th edition of the ongoing U-20 South America Championship.  Seleção Juniors secured the final round with the maximum 10 points after winning three of the four matches of the group stage and drawing one.

 Brazil will face Paraguay U-20 team in the fourth and last match of the group stage at 6:30 am Bangladesh time on Saturday.  The match was a mission for Brazil to become group champions, having already secured the Super Six.

 Paraguay went ahead after 22 minutes of the match.  However, Brazil equalized after eight minutes.  Stanio Cruz scored the first goal for Brazil in the 30th minute of the match.  If there were no more goals in the first half, the two teams went into the break tied at 1-1.

 Ronaldo Cardoso Falkowski scored Brazil's winning goal in the tenth minute after the break (55).  Brazil won the group by securing a 2-1 win.

 This is their 12th title mission.  Before that, Seleção Youth won 11 times by participating in 29 events.  Runners-up seven more times.

 Brazil beat Peru 3-0 in their first match at the U-20 South American Championship.  Then in the second match, they defeated arch rival Argentina 3-1.  Draw with Colombia last Thursday in the third match.

 Incidentally, as per the U-20 South America Championship format, three teams from each group will advance to the next round.  Everyone will face everyone there.  The top two teams in the points table will be the group champions and runners-up.

 Brazil, Colombia and Paraguay confirmed the final round from 'Group A'.  Argentina and Peru have been knocked out.  Brazil won the group with 10 points from 3 wins and 1 draw in 4 matches.  Host Colombia got 8 points from two draws and two wins.  Third placed Paraguay has 7 points from two wins and one draw.  In addition, Argentina has three points with only one win.  Peru did not win a single match.
