I sit in silence, still and calm,
My mind a blank, my thoughts untethered.
I breathe in deeply, slowly,
Exhaling all my worries and stress.
I focus on my breath, the rise and fall
Of my chest, the cool air entering,
The warm air leaving.
I am aware of my body,
From the top of my head to the tips of my toes.
I feel the weight of my body on the chair,
The touch of my clothes against my skin.
I am present in the moment,
Not thinking about the past or the future.
I am simply here, now.
This is meditation.
This is peace.
