[Poem] The Wall Remembers

rada11219

Sun-bleached and worn, with weathered grace,

The Wall remembers, time's endless pace.

Footprints of soldiers, long since gone,

Whispers of battles, where victory shone.

Wildflowers bloom, where arrows once flew,

The silence broken, by morning dew.

Tourists tread, on a path of might,

A marvel of man, bathed in golden light.

Stones whisper legends, of battles fought,

Of dynasties built, and dearly bought.

The Wall remembers, a timeless guide,

A symbol of strength, where empires reside.
