[Poem] A Walk in the Park

 

Beneath the canopy of trees,

Where sunlight dances on the breeze,

I take a walk, my heart at ease,

Amidst the beauty of nature's lease.

 

The birdsong fills the air with cheer,

As squirrels scamper, wild and near.

The flowers bloom in vibrant hues,

And butterflies flit, their wings diffuse.

 

I breathe in deep the fragrant air,

And feel my worries melt away.

My soul is filled with peace and care,

As I wander on this perfect day.

 

I pass a group of children playing,

Their laughter soaring, hearts elating.

A couple walks hand-in-hand,

Their love a bond that none can withstand.

 

I see a dog chasing a squirrel,

Its tail wagging, full of joy and mirth.

A group of friends gathered for a picnic,

Their camaraderie a priceless gift.

 

Oh, park, you're a sanctuary so dear,

A place where nature's beauty is clear.

A place to relax, to dream, to play,

And let your worries drift away.

 

So thank you, park, for all you give,

For helping me to truly live.

I'll cherish every walk I take,

And in your beauty, my heart partake.
