Not just for bread, this hunger does yearn,
For a purpose to find, a lesson to learn.
A hunger for knowledge, to quench the mind's thirst,
For wisdom's embrace, to break the world's curse.
A hunger for justice, to right every wrong,
For a voice for the voiceless, where silence is strong.
A hunger for love, a connection so deep,
To mend broken hearts, while kindness we keep.
A hunger for beauty, in nature's embrace,
In art's vibrant colors, a smile on a face.
A hunger for growth, to push past the pain,
To rise from the ashes, and bloom once again.
This hunger within, a fire's bright spark,
A yearning for something, that leaves its own mark.
May we nourish these hungers, with passion and grace,
And build a better world, for every human race.
