[Poem] The Healing Process

 

The wound is deep and raw,

The pain is still so real.

But I know that with time,

It will start to heal.

 

The scars will fade away,

And the memories will lose their sting.

I will be whole again,

I know I will.

 

It won't be easy,

There will be days when I want to give up.

But I will keep going,

I will keep fighting.

 

I will not let this define me,

I will not let it hold me back.

I will heal,

And I will be stronger for it.

 

I am not alone in this,

There are others who have walked this path before me.

And they have shown me that it is possible to heal,

To find peace and happiness again.

 

So I will keep going, One day at a time.

And I know that eventually,

I will be healed.
