[Poem] The Power of Play

 

In every child's heart, a spark ignites,

A flame of play, a source of light,

That fuels their minds, their bodies strong,

As they dance and sing, their spirits throng.

 

Through playful steps and joyful leaps,

Their muscles grow, their balance keeps,

Their senses sharpen, eyes so keen,

As they explore the world unseen.

 

With blocks and shapes, they build and create,

Imaginations soar, minds elate,

Solving puzzles, with hands so fine,

Their minds expand, their thoughts align.

 

In games of make-believe, they learn and grow,

Empathy blooms, compassion's glow,

They share and listen, take turns with grace,

In playful acts, life's lessons embrace.

 

Oh, precious gift of playful days,

Where learning blooms in countless ways,

Through laughter's light and joy's embrace,

The power of play, a child's true grace.
