Hi friends!
Today in Istanbul overcast, but that did not stop us to stroll through the old town from Kadikoy to Eminonu.

Here is the area near the sea of Marmara in Kadikoy. On the waterfront there are many small ports, where you can take a trip to any part of Istanbul. In a beautiful old building on the square there is a theater and a music school.

Kadikoy is located on the Asian side of Istanbul. There is no crowd of tourists, here you can feel the Turkish spirit. It is easy to get here, you just need to take a boat from one of the piers of the European part of Istanbul. Women and girls alone, I would not advise to go to the old Asian areas of Istanbul. A lot of men will constantly look at women. If you do not mind, then walk with pleasure. Thank God gone are the days when the Turks stole women from all over the world in order to dilute their blood. How many they took out Russian and Ukrainian women, it is difficult even to imagine

The Turks in modern times are trying to culturally fool our women, that they are not decorated. But only some Turkish men do that. My friends too want to marry Slavic girls. They say they like their beauty and kindness. Turkish women are very grumpy and loud.

At the pier in Kadikoy works ship that cleans the bottom of the shore. The Turkish people are very curious, so everyone is standing and watching others work

It looks like one of the ports in Kadikoy on the inside. We'll move from here to Eminonu.

Boat trips and ships in Istanbul - it is very exciting and informative. While you are sailing, you can see literally next to the large and small ships, sights of Istanbul, which are located on the banks. And just beautiful water views

For example, we can see the Galata tower, one of the old buildings in Istanbul. It can be seen from different areas.

The famous Galata bridge. A favorite place for tourists and fishermen. The bridge offers beautiful views. It is necessary to come here and walk on the bridge

The Galata bridge overlooking the Eminonu area of Istanbul on the European side of Istanbul. We left with you from the Asian part.

Turkish flags are sold at every step

If you come by ship to eminen, you will immediately see the old Istanbul. You will feel history everywhere. Architecture of houses, location of streets, old bazaars. It's beautiful.

I can't walk by this old balcony in the courtyard of the old mosque

Here is a magnificent old building with beautiful architecture. In this building once was one of the first banks, which works until now. It's Ish Bankasy. Now this building is a Museum of this old Bank. There is something to see in the Museum. It's free. The Museum has everything related to the development of the banking industry and technology. Highly recommend a look. The Museum is very large, you will need three hours that quietly inspect everything

It is a monument to Turkish soldiers-Janissaries. A lot of Janissaries in the past have done bad to Ukraine. Even there was a time that Odessa belonged to the Turks. Our city was called hadzhibey. But then under the leadership of the Russian Empress Catherine the great the Turks were expelled from Odessa.

This is the entrance to one of the oldest markets in the world - the Egyptian market.

So part of the market looks inside. Very beautiful architecture. There are always a lot of people here. Products for every taste. Everything sparkles and glitters.

This is all the territory of old Istanbul, so many old houses. The streets are very narrow. Trees and shrubs grow on old houses

Turkish dishes, which reminds us of the Ottoman Empire

Again in front of you narrow streets and a huge number of shops. This market with the Grand Bazaar is a shopping city where you can buy everything.

Another old house in the market

Clothes hang directly over the head of buyers. Against the background of the old house it looks great

National Turkish women's clothing. Of course, it does not walk the streets. But often in such dresses it is possible to meet a Turkish bride

At the Turkish Bazaar, it is necessary to bargain - it is a culture of trade. If you do not bargain - it humiliates the seller. All this is like a theatrical performance. This is especially interesting when the Turks are traded among themselves.

From sweets in the market just dazzled. The goods are very beautifully laid out at all sellers, as a work of art:)

I like Turkish lamps made of colored glass, look very nice

We went from the market to the University square

It is the oldest University in Istanbul. It was built by Fatih Sultan in the 15th century. Students from all over the world study here

Pigeons on the University square live well, as elsewhere in Istanbul. They are always fed and poured water. Children are happy to disturb the birds

We took a short walk in the old Istanbul. Thank you for walking with me! All a pleasant journey!
Until next time, @r3benok
