Hello to all the residents of Serey!
Our craftsmen always know how to advertise a product, I would like such abilities:) Today we will talk about how the 1918 car from the Ford company was advertised. I will start with the fact that according to the results of 1918, every second car made on the planet was a Ford. Such success is amazing! In the photo you can see a very old cognac bottle that is in my grandmother's closet. This souvenir (there is no cognac there for a long time... it's even scary to think how old the bottle is in the form of a Ford car). Do not think that I am promoting alcohol:), I just like the story and everything connected with it. If there are still interesting facts , you can always read it with interest and share your impressions with you.
The history of the Ford company is very saturated with the facts of the championship. The company became the first automaker in the world to produce 1 million cars. On December 10, 1915, the Ford T became the millionth car. In 1921, the company became the first to collect more than 1 million cars in one year.
Ads for Ford cars were everywhere and everywhere. There are many famous phrases of Henry Ford. One of them is: "The buyer can buy a car of any color, provided that this color is black." Production increased at a high speed, a conveyor appeared. Only the Japanese black enamel dried quickly. Therefore, there were only black cars. Only in 1926, they began to make multi-colored models again.
Henry Ford introduced the term just-in-time, which is used in the modern auto industry. In 1924, he stated that ore delivered by ship to the Rouge Plant plant at 8 am on Monday becomes a ready-made car by 9 am on Wednesday and arrives at the dealer by 12 o'clock in the afternoon, so " the transformation of raw materials into real money takes about 33 hours." This is a very interesting and entertaining fact. And this is 1924!!!
The terms "mass production" (1926) and "automation" (1946) also refer to Henry Ford and his employee. He was an interesting person and creator. His advertising motto was the phrase: a car for everyone! Henry Ford owns 161 patents in the USA!

A small part of a big advertisement and a piece of a brilliant inventor is now in my grandmother's closet. This is both touching and very interesting, at least for me. After all, my grandmother could have thrown away this souvenir a long time ago. But no, they don't throw away a piece of the story about brilliant people...
