Overview of the Serey Wallet App

If you are a newbie like me  on Serey, you have many questions in your head on how do things on serey. For example, how to cross post, how to power up or down and how to send serey coins.  On the profile page, on the right side, there is menu that show wallet balance. 

Yet, there is no explanation on how to send serey coins, how to power up, or power down. And you can not do all those operation from the profile page. You can do these on Serey wallet  Apps or Wallet which is available here: https://serey.io/serey-apps

 

There are mobile and desktop version. In this post, I used the desktop version.

Once you installed the app, when you open it, you will be greeted by a sign up form if this is your first time using it. 

Just put your Serey username, and your owner key. Then click next. The next form will enable you to create password for logging in into the app or wallet. So, you don't have to type your owner key everytime you try to login.

Upon your login, you will be able to see your Serey balance and serey power. You can do your financial transaction here, like sending, receiving or paying using Serey coins.

 

Other operation you can do here are powering up or down, canceling  and delegating power, claim reward and sending coins to exchange. All are self-explanatory.

For example, when you click transfer to exchanges, you will be able to send your coins to an exchange. When I did try to click this menu, I got a dialogue bar like this:

 

So, I can send the seley coins to pancakeswap. First, I need to specify how much to send, and the minimum was 25,000 serey. Then it asked for address. I think what it meant was a BSC address or Binance Smart Chain Address. This address should be ours. 

One question asked on Indonesian Serey Group on telegram was how to do cross posting. To do so, you can go to setting which was available on the navigation on the left. of the wallet. See pic.

The last option at the bottom was cross platform setup.  When you click this, you will be able to set up to cross post to steem or hive. I did not see the option to post to blurt.blog yet, probably not implemented yet.

In the setting page, you can also set google authenticator, and also manage your security key. All the options are self-explanatory, you can try it for yourself.
