This month makes it the nineth month students of Nigeria federal Universities have been at home due to no agreement or settlement between the federal government and school union officials, ASUU.
There can never be a debate against the proposal that Nigeria government doesn't want good Education practice in this country. According to Asuu the federal government made an agreement since 2009 which they've not been able to settle and as a result of that ASUU have been holding several academic suspension. ASUU seems to be the suffering side as they claim they're not treated fairly and government must look into their matter before the school activities can move on.
The federal government and ASUU have held several meetings but all in vain till date. Recently they sued ASUU to Industrial court and there was an order from the court after the case that ASUU should call off the strike but the union refused and have even gone further in taking the matter to Appeal court. The case is still pending in Appeal and will be looked into later.
