Gordophobia. Social complex?

P

Things happen in life that can lead to obesity. Many or generally those who criticize prefer to ignore and others more roughly prefer to join in direct criticism spoken.

Some time ago, there was a story that was viralized on the internet where a passenger from London received a note stating that she was a "fat and ugly" being and that her overweight was due to "gluttony and not a hormonal disorder ". The note had been given by a slim and moderately elegant person. It is apparently a group and they call themselves "Everweight Haters".

This fact is so crude and not very human, so much empathy is lacking in some people.

Discriminations from society:

On the Job:

Statistics indicate that an overweight person tends to take longer to find a job, and that a person with the same curriculum or portfolio could have 3 more possibilities if he or she stays at an "adequate" weight.

But and then the weight clouds the knowledge? Certainly it does not cloud them, but apparently it hinders the employers who magically assume that because you are fat you have multiple diseases, of which the company does not want any type of relationship. Keep in mind then that thin people also have diseases.

On social media:

Society has imposed paradigms of how the correct weight should be. Magazine bodies without cellulite or leathers abound in magazines, this is the model that prevails; but it is totally far from the truth. We reveal here that these people are completely made up and that perfection is based on a mask.

Recently, while reading, I came across an article by a girl on YouTube where her video had been censored because she was fat and she was trying on bikinis. She expressed her discontent, arguing that videos of slim girls showed the same thing and had not been censored, the problem was her weight! This type of content is censored because being overweight is not something to brag about.

I fully understand that it is not something to get out of hand, however having self-love also means feeling comfortable with yourself, so comfortable that dressing in any garment is not a problem. And if there is no problem with oneself, why should there be with others?

Honestly from a personal level I think that there is no strictly correct weight, people are the way they are physically and they should be loved for the person they are. It is illogical to judge by superficiality, it does not denote the person rich in values that he can be. We must stop playing judges, let people live as they want. Already enough inconveniences an overweight person has, as to reach "the judges of beauty" and form more problem. We must bear in mind that many overweight people face factors that predispose them to that, let's be empathetic. Let's support and not destroy.
