Plagiarism is the act of using someone's content without mentioning or acknowledging such original content creators.

Hence, makes your whole article invalid and regard you as thief, because you used someone's work without giving them the necessary credit, and legal actions can be taken against you.

Again, you will definitely lose upvotes on such unsourced borrowed contents posts.

Same applies to images and videos, therefore the essence to always source images and videos including which belong to us or not from a different source.

Sourcing yourself validates that the content actually belongs to you and help create awareness of your ownership.

Sourcing Oneself usually rotates around images and videos, and it is easy as ABCD.

Here, I will guide you on how to create and input a pleasing Source link in your article.

How To Source Contents

Desktop:

* On the post making page, go to insert and click link.

* Paste your copied URL link in the URL space.

The Text to display will automatically be filled with your pasted link, delete it and write Source, then click save.

* Here comes the results.

You can insert the picture before or after creating the Source link, but make sure the Source always comes after the borrowed content.

Android App:

* Click the round button at the Post an article page.

* In the Text space write Source, and paste your copied URL link to the Link space, and click Submit.

The Source link will be created, then you add the image just above the Source link created.

Afterwards you can highlight the Source and give it a pleasant formatting by using Subscript and Italic, although the subscript feature is not available on the app yet.

Screenshot: Add a watermark and state the platform or where you took the screenshot from. The sourcing can be done within or at end part of your publication, mostly where screenshots are taken from same or few platforms.

Self made images using apps: Indicate the app used to edit or create the image.

Self/Original images: Below your image or at the end of your article, mention the device you used to take the pictures or just state that the images are your own collections.
