Build trust in relationships

Do you feel relationships can be tough, relationships are dysfunctional, but relationships are the center of our core. Chemistry drives everything, it's the way we relate drives a lot of aspects in our lives. The way we relate to one another. But are we compatible? That's the question we need to ask. There's a few things I want to share about building everyday trust in relationships.

Communicat your intentions clearly. Having an effective and clear communication is important in building and maintaining successful relationships professionally with friends and family and in romantic relationships. People are not mind readers. A lot of times we do not think about these things because we are so hung up on the chemistry that we are not thinking about the compatibility. In the beginning of a relationship it's also important to be open and honest. When you are open and honest you are actually seeing if you're compatible and you are giving that person the choice to accept you for who you are or who you may not be in terms of who they think you are. And in doing these steps don't give the interview answer. You should know what I mean by that. Giving the answers that you feel they want to hear, that's lying. Don't lie just, be open and honest always and just tell the person the truth about who you are so they can make the choice if they want to be in a relationship with you or they want to just be friends.

Say what you mean And mean what you say. Your words are important and it's important for your words to match your actions. It's extremely easy to promise certain things in the beginning of the relationship because you are so gone off the excitement that you will say whatever you need to say and do whatever you will need to do to get what you want. This could be more damaging because they are certain things that you promised in the relationship that you are not going to keep up with in the compatibility stage.

This last tip is going to be a hard one.

Admit your mistakes. Your partner wants to know that if you are able to admit your mistakes especially if you admit the mistake in the beginning. Everyone knows that something bad has happened in the past from your previous relationship. But if you could be reliable enough and be accountable and let people know your vices, let people know your issues, let people know what you struggle with in the beginning. You are giving them the opportunity to choose if that's what they want to partake in with you on this journey in such a relationship. But if you take that away and they find out the hard way through being in the relationship with you, what you do is that you've taken that choice away and now you are not being reliable or accountable because you could have just said this up first. Then that shows also that when you make a mistake in a relationship because we all will, we are able to admit those mistake because now I know I can have a conversation with you I know you are a forgiving person and I know we will be able to get through this if what I have done isn't that damaging to the relationship. There is nothing more than making a person feel safe in the relationship with these three things; be honorable, being reliable, and being accountable thank you.

Admit your mistakes - that's very well said.
