Casuari

In general, all birds in this world can fly high, almost 99% on average they can fly, whether their bodies are large or small. But there are also birds that have wide but small wings, but they cannot fly, like cassowaries. This happens because the wings they have are not as perfect as other birds.  The casuari bird contained in my post is a double gliding cassowary (Casuarius casuarius) is one of the typical species of Papua that can be found in the forest area of ​​Papua. In addition to Papua, this bird can also be found on Seram Island, Maluku and Northeast Australia in the region itself. In the history of birds, if not mistaken since 1994, IUCN re-enlisted double wattle cassowaries in vulnerable (vulnerable) status. But in 2017 the status of birds changed to low risk (least attention).  In our vision that Kasuari has a unique and beautiful morphology. Facial skin and purplish blue mix with red or sometimes yellow. His crown was tall and thick in curves, his neck twisted two (two) red and black feathers. The color is light brown with thick dark brown lines that stretch along the body. While his voice has a distinctive style and is very loud when he chirps.  Then the casuari besides having strong and sturdy legs with three front fingers equipped with three also has sharp nails. When standing, cassowary has a height of 1.2 -1.5 meters. The wings did not grow perfectly and were very small, which caused this large bird to not fly like other birds. Another thing that is found in this bird is that it is very wild and will always watch over you if it is deemed foreign to him.
