Common names used in Sumatra is "Lantana".  While the physical characteristics of this flower are very distinctive and very easy to spot, because Lantana has a variety of mixed colors such as red, orange, yellow, or blue and white florets. Then other colors exist as new varieties of crosses will also grow in different colors. As mentioned before this lantana flower is very easy to recognize because the flowers consist of tiny colorful flowers that are bound to one stalk which in flora terms are called "umbels". In general, or usually changes color at a certain time, so that different inflorescences of time will cause a two-or three-color difference in the same stalk to grow simultaneously, as is the case with other plants growing with different colors with different plants. But these flowers are very different in one flower growing stalk with different colors of pliers with different colors but the same flower shape.  The lantana flowers found in this post are lantana which has been cultivated because of the many benefits taken from this plant. Whereas wild lantana, called "Cente", is a highly invasive species, and is considered a dangerous weed for farmers because it grows and can attract other plants. In ancient times Lantana was an enemy of planters because its growth was very fast and difficult to control, but in the present era farmers use almost all farmers to use this plant to restrict their gardens or can be said to be a fence. In addition to having a strong survival, Lantana is also sharp spiked which is useful as a barricade or tabing for animals that will damage the crops maintained by farmers. Although this plant is very useful for others, it is very dangerous if it is eaten by livestock. Lantana leaves contain poisons that can cause death to livestock when ingested by grazing animals such as sheep, goats, buffaloes or horses. However, for birds and butterflies it is okay to consume this plant. Different from my personal opinion. I use this plant to decorate the yard of the house and the gardens are the types of cross-bred plants between various species or species so that they have characteristics that are slightly different from the original lantana, which means the lantana plant that grows in my yard is the result of the "Steak" process or "Graft" despite the results of the graft as mentioned but the results are still the same as the original lantana.
