Once again the news of the Google Fake app came to the fore. The number of fake apps in the Google Play Store has increased. And Google is identifying these apps and removing those apps from the Play Store. Right now, there are 9 apps in the Play Store that are harmful to your Facebook and Google accounts.
A cybersecurity company called Trend Micro has identified those 9 apps. And it also states that these apps have been downloaded 4,70,000 times.
These harmful apps include Shoot Clean, Junk Cleaner, Phone Booster apps. Cybersecurity companies have reported that fake apps disguise themselves as 'Speed Clean' or 'Super Clean'. These apps look like they will clean up all the junk files on your smartphone but in fact these apps are faked.

According to Trend Micro, these 9 fake apps can download 3000 variants of malware on your phone. Not only that, these apps also access your Facebook and Google account. These apps show and click on ads like Google Admob or Facebook Audience Network.
