Reducing our desires is seen as a way to gain satisfaction. Satisfaction creates a state of heavenly bliss. People go to the forest or to the mountains to gain this mental state.
Mother Teresa (she died in 1997) is a prime example of today's isolation. Who stood by the poorest of the poor. The courage of the suffix is the stimulus of his deeds. He worked with the power of righteousness to achieve his purpose. Without tarnishing his recognition or rank, he faced tough opponents in his work. He disrespected the benevolent corrupt authorities for those who could not maintain themselves. He left his homeland and worked for the society on the streets of Kolkata, India. The aim was to alleviate the forgetfulness of the society and the misery of the downtrodden.
The pure courage he showed turned a small woman into a monster in the eyes of the world. His sacrifice for humanity has made the world a better place to live. A hand that serves humanity is better than a lip that talks about theology.
Socrates said, "I believe in the statement that nothing is heavenly." This is desire, not lust, not indifference. Indifferent people are uninhabitable. We often equate indifference with lust.
If we are indifferent to the situation of 'neighbor injustice', we have to wait for the next stage. It is the highest responsibility of the citizen to do something for the people. Indifference to the welfare of the common man is the main cause of collective decline.
Indifference is a curse: a heart that is not afflicted by the misery and injustice of society is spiritually dead. Dealing with reality is equivalent to witnessing the postponement, witnessing the nation's funeral procession. The indifference of the citizens towards the society is the worst curse for the society which the society rarely deals with.
Indifference is inhumane:
The famous leaders of the world can keep themselves indifferent to the unjust oppression of the environment. But the flow of events must somehow contain the flames of annoyance and involve them in the incident. Anger is considered a symbol of weakness. But looking at history, it can be seen that nothing has changed except anger.
Isn't indifference to someone's suffering called indifference? Isn't it an honorable thing to speak to the dumb? The culture of silence in the face of injustice is worse than indifference. The initiative that is needed to alleviate the suffering of others must emanate sympathy. That is the absolute truth.
In Germany, the Communist Party was attacked by the opposition. I did not protest. Because, I was not a communist. Then they came to the Jewish group, then to the trade union group, and then to the Catholic group. But I was speechless. I did not belong to any party. Then came me for the party and there was no one to protest at this time.
