Tsimikas Penalty


This Chelsea vs Liverpool match is what I can call match in the sense that they both played, they tried their possible best to score but no goal throughout the 90 minutes. We both know that penalty is a game of luck, it doesn't sure for anyone, and it's very obvious and known to everyone that Liverpool would win when it comes to penalty because Alyson Becker is good in keeping penalty than Edouard Mendy. Although Mendy saved a penalty and it's his brother's penalty, He must have studied him very well in Senegal.

This is almost the same way that Sadio Mané would loose penalty in final. In the African cup of nation final, Sadio Mané played a penalty that should have put just Put Senegal at rest if he has scored, despite the fact that he told Gabaski (Senegal goalkeeper) where he would play it, although he faked it but Gabaski still saved it. Sadio Mané is the only star player that Senegal believe that he can play penalty, they believed in him just the way that Liverpool believed in him to score the last goal for them today.

Cesar Aplicueta have already given Liverpool chance to win the match as he lost the penalty by kicking it on the net pole and ball went out, all that remain for Liverpool is just to score the last goal, but Sadio Mané failed and as he failed, Allyson Becker still tried, he saved Mason Mount's ball and keep Liverpool ahead again, and by that, Chelsea was soaked in pressure again, especially Edouard Mendy because he would be the one to save the ball from scoring but at the end, he couldn't save any more ball and Liverpool won. 

Tsimikas isn't a regular player, but he saved Liverpool by scoring the last penalty for Liverpool, this is what most regular players cannot do, he didn't play the ball with pressure like Sadio Mané did, it's very obvious in his kick. He helped Liverpool win the second trophy 🏆 of the season. With Tsimikas goal, things turn around for Liverpool, more records was added for Liverpool and as it is now, I doubt Liverpool would ever let him go as clumbs like Arsenal are already bidding for him.
