As a believer we have to define success using the lens of God, Which has made many of us believers to compete and struggle using the standard of the world.
There are many kind of Success today. And the world at large have its own definition of Success. Biblical success is not determined by a salary or title.
A successful christian is not determined by money or properties
A successful christian is not determined by title or how much of followers we have a successful christian is one who living the life God has ordained he/she to live according to Jeremiah 29:11.
One of the ways to be successful biblically is by acknowledging God and being submissive to Him. In this kingdom we measure success by how much of influence you exalt upon an environment via your witnessing.
In every area or territory we find ourselves, our purpose as believers shld be how to shine light. Whether you work in the bank or school, what matters is your level of influence via your witnessing, that way you are living a successful life. Because one day we all will die and the only thing we will be remembered for is our impact and influence.
What we will be remembered for is how we raised a generation while living. The whole purpose of taking over the 7 mountains (career) is to be a witness of Jesus to everyone in that space and territory.
But it's a pity that many of us believers get promotion then forget God. We forget the utmost and begin to seek comfort
