HOW TO MOVE GOD'S HAND BY PRAYER

King 18 vs 43-46 talks about Elijah. That pray to rain. He pray so that rain will fall and it happened.

Now, moving God's hand by prayer is not just praying alone, but having the full understanding of prayer and what prayer can do.

Like I use to say, don't just pray because you want to pray bcos there is more to it.

2 chronicles 7 vs 14

[NLT] - 2 Chronicles 7:14 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

We will be looking at some keys here in the above verse. If my people are called by my name.

To move God's hand by prayer, you must be His own. You must genuinely know Him and He too. He needs men and women that will be called by His name.

Many of us, hide from that identity. We don't want them to call us names like:

 Iya Jesu(mother of Jesus). Some will even call you "MUMMY OR DADDY G. O" and Some "PASTOR".

All names you can think of and we will be like, God forbid. The most common name is "S. U".

One gospel artist said LET THEM CALL ME NAMES, LET THEM CALL ME NAMES, i'm NOT MOVE

They that know their God He says, they shall be strong and do exploit. When you know who your God is, no name to hide your identity. Your identity in Christ makes God proud of you.

Job identity was so powerful that the devil had to negotiate with God. The truth is if we are genuinely born again, we are qualified to call on Him. Another thing is WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES

You don't come before God to receive from Him with a heart of pride.

Humility

Jesus always approaches the father in prayer with humility. He never said because am a messiah, do this, do that, He always humble Himself.

What do I mean?

A man coming to God to receive from Him is like a mere man coming to meet Buhari or a king. You will see our humble that man will become in the presence of the king or president.

Not to talk of God. The God that is bigger and greater than all. How did David become the man after God's heart?

He is a man that humbles himself. Beloved if we want God to move, then let us humble ourselves. Many of us, whenever we want to pray just pray, and talk to Him. May God help us in Jesus' name.

He is looking for men and women who will humble themselves enough that He can reveal Himself.
