INSISTING THROUGH PRAYER
Let start by looking at the word INSISTING
In a very short and understandable meaning, INSISTING here means NOT TAKING NO FOR AN ANSWER
I only use this very simple meaning for us to understand my teaching, Not resting on NO as an aanswer. Not embracing the word NO as our total bus stop.
Insisting through prayer then means: not taking no through prayer as your answer. Many of us we have plenty prayer point, we list everything and table it before God, we pray and fasted and yet it looks like there is not results and we just conclude in our mind that I PRAYED BUT NO ANSWER, LET ME LEAVE IT.
IT'S NOT FOR ME
THERE IS NO GOD
We have many meaning or different mindset of what prayer is all about. And when we take the process just as the way it is to us, we may not find answer to it.
Insisting through prayer is pray until something happen.
In the book of Genesis, there is a story we all know, About a man called jacob. He insisted, praying with everything in him till something happened.
Oh my goodness, We must debunk this mentality that if we prayer does not work. It depends on the issue at hand
One day I was watching film at home at midnight and a friend of mine called me and I pray with him. At first, the prayer is cold and he has serious issue.
Immediately I noticed that this issue is not bread and butter, I increased my prayer, it was so high that I don't know when I pray for hours.
I stop when I know that the issue has gone. Beloved, when we take NO for an answer in place of prayer, then something is wrong.
