Many of us use the scripture as a sleeping tablet
One day someone said, if you have tried all your means to sleep and you can't find any, just open your Bible and read and you will sleep
Why will you be reading the word of your father and you are sleeping?
Why will your Father in heaven talk to you through the scripture and you said it's a means of sleeping
You can not grow that way
It is a different thing that you want to read the scripture, knowing the mind of the father than saying because you want to sleep, let the scripture be your sleeping tab, Aaah
Growing in the word of God is by obeying and doing the will of God
3. Knowing God
Knowing God is very powerful bcos by knowing Him, you can sustain His presence
God needs to bring Moses into the school of KNOWING
He let Moses know what He can do, and who He is sending Him to pharaoh and that's what help Moses
If you don't know God, you can't sustain His presence
The Bible says THEY THAT KNOW THEIR GOD
Not they that play their God
We play ourselves many times thinking we are playing God
In this time that things are somehow in this nation now, I tell you the love of many towards God has waxed cold
It only takes a man that KNOWS to keep the fire burning
This time or era when we will truly know if we a still keep the fire burning or not
Knowing God brings an encounter
Saul who later became Paul does not know God until he encounter God, within 3days, he know God and after that, he went into the wilderness to know more about God and when he came back, kai🔥🔥, he know God and was radical for the one he knows
THEY THAT KNOW THEIR GOD, THEY SHALL BE STRONG
In knowing God, you can stand anything that comes your way
It makes you keep the fire burning
4. Prayer
What keeps Jesus Christ going till death is PRAYER
Through prayer, we know God more and we can keep His presence alive
A man who chose to keep the fire burning is a man of prayer
Not prayer for self-interest, but prayer to do the will of the father
Praying in the holy ghost has made it so easy for us to keep the presence of God
They that speak in tongues edify their spirit
This means when we speak in tongues we keep the presence of God
We choose to keep the fire burning
God does not reveal Himself to those who are not His, but to those that are ready to pay the price of sustaining, keeping the fire burning till the end without compromise.
I pray that God will help us all and help us to keep our fire burning till the end
Father, we thank you for tonight, We pray that you will help us in your mercy to sustain your presence till the end and that your spirit will dwell in us and guide us in Jesus' name
