I learnt something at a point in life which till this very time I still make use of it.
It's a statement from one of my boss at that time. He made a statement that;

The ATM Saga
On Wednesday 21, at around 9:15am I left my house took a tricycle to the nearest ATM bot.
I can't waste unnecessary time inside the banking hall, so I decided to use the ATM machine.
I was to carry out two transaction at the ATM point. One was to withdraw some cash and also to do some transfer.
The first one was easy cashing out. Everything began to look strange when I was about doing the transfer.
I tried the first, second and the third time to no success. I remember that guiding statement.

At the UBA bank ATM point, I call upon the security man for assistance.
I was surprised when he told me that transaction can't be completed 😱 with their ATM machine. He told me to use Jaiz ATM or go to my bank.
I stood still for few minutes to think of the best option. Jaiz bank was more close with #50 transportation fee I would be there or better still I can trek there too.
Going to my bank ATM point Will cost me around #100. So I pick the first option.
In few minutes I arrive at Jaiz bank. I tried doing the transaction the first, second and third time but kept receiving error message that;
Internal card error
I approach the security man at the gate for way out. He told me to use Quick teller and not Transfer
I was so excited that to ask questions can be very helpful. I tried that too but was almost close to finishing the transaction and at the last stage that same error pop up again.

Guess what! I went to the security man who at this point followed me to the machine.
He instructed me and watch me do as he instruct me. At the last stage it was the error message.
At this point he told me it was network issues from my bank.
He gave me two options again.
- God to my bank
- Wait few minutes for the network to return.
I stood still again to think. At this point I could not pick what to do.
I concluded to withdraw the fund and no matter the fee at POS point am willing to pay.
I went back to the ATM machine to withdraw the money. I think within myself to try it for the last time. Yes you guess right, this time it went successfully.
"Transaction Successful"
I was filled with joy. POS agent no eat my money.
Moral lesson is that, dont always be I too know person. Ask question and from the right people.
If I have not taken time to ask questions, maybe I would have stood at UBA machine complaining this transaction isn't going and maybe went back home frustrated at the end.
Always be earger to ask questions wherever you find yourself. That question maybe a life saver to learn new things.
