Who told you that you can't get more out of life?
Who told you that love is distant and you should live in strife?
You can, with your abilities, create a world where bread is not a stone
And meatloaf would be what it is - not a bone
Life has given us all that we need and desire
Ain't nothing gonna happen if you don't light the fire
But most people love pity, they want to be in a situation so dire
They have placed their feelings on a hire
They allowed the pressure of life to weigh heavily and they tire
The steps you don't take won't take itself
The dream you don't fuel won't achieve itself
The love you didn't pursue won't just happen
We need to stop living in a cocoon world of self-delusion
Thinking things would fall on our laps because we desire it
Ask yourself, what steps are you taking?
Ask yourself, are you doing things the way others are doing it?
It's a waste of time to expect something different while doing the norms
Think outside the box and do things differently...
