Goa Japan itself is actually not the only attraction. The panorama around it is very neat. It is not surprising that the Japanese army made this place a base of defense. As far as the eye can see can be seen below. Like the blue Malacca Strait and PT Arun's gas refinery. It's a very Instagramable spot. Goa, which has a length of 50-60 meters, was built with forced laborers from the surrounding area. The entrance to the cave is only 2 x 3 meters. Then climb the small hill. At the top of the hill is Goa Japan. From the top of this hill, aim at the wind. All offer their own beauty while enjoying the breeze. If you look south, you can see tree trunks while enjoying the wind. If you go north, you can see the blue sea of ​​the Malacca Strait. While looking west, you can see the famous PT Arun NGL factory. Complete with slim LNG tankers.  From the top of the hill, visitors can relax, take selfies while enjoying the views of the sea off the Malacca Strait, PT Arun's factory and port, the faces of Lhokseumawe City, residents' houses and the Medan-Banda Aceh national road that is clearly visible from this hill. It was also seen that the Medan - Banda Aceh national road was also the city of Lhokseumawe. Goa, which is part of the Japanese line of defense along Lhokseumawe - Sabang, is at an altitude of about 120 meters. This cave is part of 17 caves and 8 Japanese fortresses which were completed at the end of 1942.  Its function was clear when Japan entrenched here. In addition to being a fortress it is also a place of detention for people who fight Japan. Then when the PKI rebellion erupted it became a place of detention for communists. While in the Aceh conflict it was used as a place of detention from GAM people before being taken to the police station in Lhokseumawe.
