Greetings everyone,
For some time now, the football world has been quite vocal about the sudden drop in form surrounding the "egyptian king" Mohamed Salah. This has been due to his poor form in recent matches during Premier League and champions league fixtures. Quite frankly, I also thought it would be quite hard for him to get back to form.
Having scored 4 goals and assisted thrice in the first quater of the overall season, this would be a good start for any player. But when you have such a great goalscoring reputation surrounding you, the pressure is always there for you to perform at the highest level. I think sometimes we get carried away thinking these players are simply going to step onto the pitch and start performing tremendously.
Now, despite the fact that he might have dropped in form, he is still ever deadly in front of goal. Last night's fixture just goes to prove this with his five minute hattrick in Liverpool's 7 goal thriller against Rangers. We should not therefore be quick to write off the egyptian king just yet. I believe he will find his form soon enough.
This coming Sunday, Liverpool face off against Manchester City at Anfield. This is bound to be such an incredibly exciting fixture to look forward to considering the masive form Manchester City are having at the moment and the sharp decline in Liverpool's form in this particular season. This match could therefore be a proving point for Liverpool if they would like to turn things around.
I am very excited for this particular fixture considering how the previous once all went. I think Man City could emerge victorious but considering how Liverpool are gradually improving, this could go either way. I think all eyes could be on Haaland but we must also be on the lookout for Mohamed Salah who is quite a phenomenon.
Thank you for your attention.
