বাংলাদেশের ডেঙ্গু পরিস্থিতি

দেশে গত মাসের প্রথম ১৫ দিনের চেয়ে চলতি মাসের প্রথম ১৫ দিনে বেশি ডেঙ্গু রোগী শনাক্ত হয়েছে। আগস্ট মাসের প্রথম ১৫ দিনে ডেঙ্গু শনাক্ত রোগীর সংখ্যা ছিল ৩ হাজার ৮৪৯। আর চলতি সেপ্টেম্বর মাসে একই সময়ে আক্রান্ত রোগীর সংখ্যা ৪ হাজার ৪৭৫। স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের হেলথ ইমার্জেন্সি অপারেশন সেন্টার ও নিয়ন্ত্রণকক্ষ থেকে পাঠানো তথ্য পর্যালোচনা করে এ তথ্য পাওয়া গেছে।

 

এদিকে ডেঙ্গু জ্বরে আক্রান্ত হয়ে জুলাই মাস থেকে এখন পর্যন্ত ৫৭ জন মারা গেছে। এর মধ্যে গত মাসে সর্বোচ্চ ৩৪ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। আগের মাস জুলাইয়ে মারা গেছে ১২ জন। আর চলতি সেপ্টেম্বরের প্রথম ১৫ দিনে মারা গেছে ১১ জন।

স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর জানিয়েছে, বুধবার সকাল ৮টা পর্যন্ত গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় নতুন করে ডেঙ্গুতে আক্রান্ত হয়ে দেশের বিভিন্ন হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছে ৩০৭ জন। এর মধ্যে ২৪৪ জন রাজধানী ঢাকার রোগী। স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর রাজধানীর ১২টি সরকারি হাসপাতাল ও ৩১টি বেসরকারি হাসপাতালে ভর্তি রোগীর তথ্য গণমাধ্যমে দিচ্ছে। তবে স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের দেওয়া হিসাবের বাইরেও রাজধানীর বেসরকারি হাসপাতালগুলোতে ডেঙ্গু জ্বরে আক্রান্ত রোগীরা ভর্তি হয়ে চিকিৎসা নিচ্ছে।

 

চলতি বছর বর্ষা মৌসুম শুরুর পর থেকেই ডেঙ্গুর প্রকোপ বেড়েছে। ঢাকার দুই সিটি করপোরেশন নানা উদ্যোগ নেওয়ার পরও পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে আসছে না। বিশেষজ্ঞরা বলছেন, যেসব এলাকায় মশা বেশি, সেসব এলাকায় একযোগে ওষুধ ছিটিয়ে সব মশা মেরে ফেলতে হবে।

স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর জানিয়েছে, রাজধানীর হাসপাতালগুলোর মধ্যে এখন পর্যন্ত সবচেয়ে বেশি রোগী ভর্তি হয়েছে মিটফোর্ড হাসপাতালে। এই হাসপাতালে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় নতুন করে ৪৬ জন রোগী ভর্তি হয়েছে। এখন পর্যন্ত এই হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়ে চিকিৎসা নিয়েছে ২ হাজার ৩৪১ জন। হাসপাতালটিতে ডেঙ্গুতে আক্রান্ত হয়ে ১৩ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে।

 

চলতি বছরের জানুয়ারি থেকে এখন পর্যন্ত ১৪ হাজার ৮৩১ জন ডেঙ্গুতে আক্রান্ত হয়েছে। এর মধ্যে সুস্থ হয়েছে ১৩ হাজার ৪৮৩ জন।

Meanwhile, 58 people have died of dengue fever since July. Of these, a maximum of 34 people died last month. Twelve people died in July last year. And 11 people have died in the first 15 days of this September.

According to the Department of Health, 307 people have been admitted to various hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours till 6 am on Wednesday. Of these, 244 are patients in the capital Dhaka. The Department of Health is giving information to the media about the patients admitted in 12 government hospitals and 31 private hospitals in the capital. However, patients suffering from dengue fever are being treated in private hospitals in the capital beyond the calculations given by the health department.

 

Outbreaks of dengue have increased since the onset of the monsoon season this year. The situation is not coming under control even after the two city corporations of Dhaka have taken various initiatives. Experts say that in areas where mosquitoes are more prevalent, all mosquitoes should be killed by spraying drugs at once.

According to the Department of Health, Mitford Hospital has so far admitted the highest number of patients among the hospitals in the capital. In the last 24 hours, 48 ​​new patients have been admitted in this hospital. So far, 2,341 people have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Thirteen people have died of dengue at the hospital.

 

Since January this year, 14,731 people have been infected with dengue. Of these, 13,463 people have recovered.
