Learn to release tension. First of all - "move"

We cannot eliminate stress from everyday life. We can only learn to protect our body (first of all) and mind from its harmful effects. To do this, we need to work out and overcome the physical and mental mechanisms.

Your body is primarily affected by stress. Stress causes muscle tension, any chronic tension causes constant stress on the body, and prolonged stress has a detrimental effect on the body. And it turns out a vicious circle.

In times when success is praised, giving up is associated with failure. Therefore, it is worth trying to learn how to let go from the level of the body - to overcome the fear of failure, which at the physical level can be equated with the fear of falling. This fear is basic, and it concerns both physical and moral decline, as well as the decline of authority.

How does the body react to stress?

The body reacts to stress with the so-called general adaptation syndrome, which consists of three phases.

The first is the anxiety response. In response to stress, our body releases hormones from the adrenal medulla, which mobilize it to fight. When stress is associated with physical damage to the body, the response to the alarm is inflammatory. If this response proves to be an effective way to deal with stress, the body will relax and return to a state of balance.

If stress continues, the body will trigger a second phase of adaptation syndrome - the adaptation phase, in which corticosteroids (adrenal hormones) have anti-inflammatory effects. This process is high-energy and long-lasting for the body, it will enter a depletion phase - the body no longer has the energy to withstand stress, and it begins to break down. Nowadays, we try to resist stress as long as possible, so the most common phase of exhaustion, which is manifested by fatigue, which does not go away after a short rest or chronic lack of strength.

Most of us are on the verge of exhaustion as a result of prolonged stress caused by muscle tension. These muscle tensions are the result not only of situations that overwhelm us, but also of the tension arising from the desire not to give up, "give advice" or the belief, "I have to endure." This tension consumes so much energy that we do not have the strength to deal with everyday problems. Without energy, we also cannot cope with stress, and the circle closes.
