Italy beat Colombia to reach the semi-finals of the tournament. Israel also reached the semi-finals. On the other hand, Nigeria will play in the quarter-finals against South Korea, while Uruguay will face the United States. Nigeria and South Korea will face each other on Sunday (June 4) at 11:30 pm, Uruguay and the United States at 3 pm.
Brazil exited the tournament with a loss against Israel. The five-time world champions lost the Youth World Cup 2-3 on Saturday. They started the tournament losing against Italy. Brazil will face Tunisia in the knockout stage. The team won 4-1 in that match as well. But they could not clear the hurdle of the quarter finals.
On the other hand, Argentina lost to Nigeria in the last sixteen. Their journey into the tournament began with a 2–1 win over Uzbekistan. They won the next two matches in the group stage. But Lionel Messi's successors could not maintain consistency in the last sixteen.
