Bangladesh Awami League is a current traditional and current rulling political party in Bangladesh. This political party was formed on 23 june 1949 with the establishment of the east Pakistan Awami muslim League. Later it was called all Pakistan Awami League. The boat has been it election symbol since 1980.It was renamed "Awami League" in 1955 to reflect the non Communal political ideology of the Bangladesh war of Independence.
The east Pakistan Awami muslim League was established on 23 june 1949 at the rose garden palace on kM Das lane road with maolana abdur hamid khan vasani as its president. Editor samsul haque of tangail.
