Rasmus Paludan, a well-known anti-Islam activist who holds dual citizenship from Denmark and Sweden, previously set fire to two copies of the holy book: one outside the Turkish consulate on January 27 and the other outside a mosque in the Danish capital.
Pakistan had asked the world community to take action to stop such vile and Islamophobic activities after strongly denouncing the stupid and incredibly insulting act of desecration of the Holy Quran in Denmark.
"This repeat of the disgusting conduct leaves little doubt in the minds of Muslims throughout the globe that freedom of expression is being flagrantly misused to propagate religious hatred and incitement to violence," said Foreign Office spokesman Mumtaz Zahra Baloch in a statement.
She had said, "We encourage them to take action to stop such cruel and Bigoted activities and to be cognizant of the emotions of the people of Pakistan and Muslims throughout the world.
The representative questioned the legal system that allows Islamophobes to operate freely and covertly promote hate.
