Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the program of providing pucca houses with land to landless and homeless families on January 23.
On this day, he will be connected with the landless people of four upazilas of the country.
Among them are the landless people who got houses in the Syedpur Asylum Project in Nilphamari. He will talk to them via video conference.
Nilphamari district administration has confirmed this information.
According to the source,
638 helpless and homeless people will find a place to go in this district.
These houses have been built for families who have no land, no houses on government khas land.
Each room has two bedrooms as well as a veranda, kitchen and bathroom.
In addition to ensuring water supply, electricity has also been provided.
The cost of building each house has been estimated at one lakh 71 thousand rupees.
These visually pleasing green houses are now the charioteers of homeless people's dreams.
Syedpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nasim Ahmed said 34 landless and homeless families in Syedpur will get electricity facility from the first day.
The Nijbari Asrayan project will create employment opportunities as it is adjacent to the market of Kamarpukur Union.
Besides constructing ghats for bathing in the ponds, mosques and community centers will be set up and the people of these families will be taken under technical education.
