""Onion" is the name of a spice that is essential in Bangladesh. Without onion, our daily cooking, including other foods, cannot be prepared in any way. Therefore, onions must be kept ready for our cooking.


There is no such dish in our country that can be cooked without onions. In our country, onions are cultivated in two times or two seasons a year. The rest of the time, it is preserved and used from there.


Is onion salad or vegetable? I have no good idea about that. But I only know about it as a spice. I don't know much more than that. If we don't eat onions regularly, various diseases can enter our body and harm us.


That is why we have to keep and eat them in all our curries, stews, chutneys and salads. Many people chew and eat raw onions with various foods to stay healthy. Onions are divided into two parts in terms of cultivation. One is "Puli Piyaz", which is Seedlings are made from seeds and then those seedlings are planted in the field and onions are cultivated. Another is to plant the onions directly in the field and when they grow, the onions are collected from there.


Recently, onions planted directly from the ground have started to grow. You can see in the picture that onions have been collected from the fields planted with onions. Which have risen fairly in the market.


Earlier, onions were sold at 110 taka per kg, but currently its market price is going at 50 to 60 taka.


Raw onions are sold in the market and since they weigh more, farmers or cultivators are benefiting from it. Along with this, consumers are also happy to be able to collect this versatile spice with many advantages.
