My wings aren't as strong,
Though it could fly,
Only to places as low,
Keeping my head where my heart is,
Is one way to go.
Let's try a new height,
My wings ministered to my head,
So we climbed the moutain,
Our first test of strength,
The most my wings could carry.
Down the hills we flew,
My heart on one side,
My head on the other,
Aiming for the valley,
A place of skulls and death.
My dream have taken the lead,
Bring to for what had been forgotten,
With eyes closed,
We launched into the deep,
Dark patches as we approached the tomb.
Can this wing soar?
Once again my heart sank,
But my head leaped,
As I spread my wings to make a turn,
An oil dropped off my shoulders.
Invincible it was,
As my wings disobeyed my heart,
Flew higher than I can imagine,
Far above the mountaintop,
Into the firmament of the heavens.
Nightfall at dawn,
What we prayed for has come to pass,
See what the mind has done,
Leaping in joy and ecstasy,
We journeyed into our place of rest.
