Strong and weak, rich and poor, individual and society, ruler and ruled, and thus the virtues of kindness, compassion, benevolence and mutual co-operation among all human beings which are desirable in Islam, I will give some practical examples from history. The history of Islam is full of such examples.
At the time of his conversion to Islam, Abu Bakr had a business profit of forty thousand dirhams. Even after his conversion to Islam, he made a lot of money by doing business. But on the day he migrated to Medina with his great friend Hazrat Muhammad SAW, he had only five thousand dirhams left. He used all his remaining capital to liberate the oppressed Muslim slaves, from which he helped the poor proletariat.
Hazrat Omar (R) was very poor. In Khaybar he got a piece of land. He came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, “I have got some land in Khaybar. I have never found such a valuable property. What is your instruction about this? ” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to him, “If you wish, keep the real land in your possession and give its dividend.
Hazrat Omar (R) made it waqf for the poor and needy, needy relatives, to free the slaves and to help the weak and disabled people and for the welfare of the people. In this way he proves the truth of this statement of the Qur'an by donating his most beloved wealth in the way of Allah
