The Peshawar Zalmi team, captained by Babar Azam, has a 54.39% PSL winning percentage.

Peshawar Zalmi became the first team in the Pakistan Super League to reach 50 victories after beating Islamabad United on Thursday evening (PSL).

Karachi Kings, on the other side, have suffered 50 defeats from 85 games, which is the highest in the PSL.

One of the five PSL founding clubs, Peshawar Zalmi, has played 92 matches and has won 50 of them. In 49 of the 50 games, Zalmi enjoyed easy victories, and they also won one game in the super over.

The Babar Azam-led club has a 54.39% success percentage in the PSL and is the only one to have advanced to the playoff round in each of the competition's eight iterations.

Zalmi defeated United last night in the opening round of the PSL's eighth season and went on to win the match.

In the first elimination match, which was held at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore, Zalmi had set United a goal of 184 runs.

They will now compete against Lahore Qalandars for a place in the championship game. Today, the same location will host the second Eliminator.
