The company appoint its young president as its new smartphone chief as the company needs to increase its market as there are more companies like Huawei which are giving a strong competition.
Samsung itself takes a lead in launching 5G network early but Huawei is also ready to boost the sales of 5G capable smartphones and other devices this year. The young chief now has a big responsibility to gain the market by taking a lot of smart and good decisions.
After a Long time smartphone leader Samsung gain a 21% market share in third quarter but Huawei gain only 18% of market share. This is beacuse Huawei in May was banned in US from doing business.
Samsung appointed Roh Tae-moon as its new chief who is currently its youngest ever president at the Age of 51. He is also Known as former mobile development head because he led the development of Samsung’s Galaxy mobile devices.
Roh gives order to create new devices which will be at lower price like all other chinese companies in which Xiaomi , vivo and Huawei etc. are included. These new devices will also compete with all other chinese mobile phones.
Samsung also has a big name in the telecom network equipment market. Company is investing a lot to improve the security of their devices. because Huawei has been bogged down for refusing allegations which United States put on the company that the state of china could use its equipment for the spying purpose and so should not be used in 5G networks.
