Raheem Sterling will return to the England camp in Al Wakrah on Friday ahead of their quarterfinal match against France on Saturday, according to the Football Association (FA) of England.
After it was broken into by "armed invaders" last Sunday, the Chelsea and England winger returned to his house in southwest England, according to the player's agent.
Later, Surrey police said that although no threats of violence had been recorded, they were looking into an allegation of stolen jewellery and watches.
The event is alleged to have left Sterling "shook" and worried about the security of his girlfriend and their three kids. He has been working to strengthen the security measures at his house ever since he got back.
It is believed that he requested permission to return to Qatar from the English Football Association on Wednesday. He is anticipated to reunite with the group in Al Wakrah, the FA said on Thursday.
