Assalamualaikum friends, I hope everyone is well? By the infinite mercy of God, I am well too. Today I will discuss with you some information about internet server in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh internet system is so weak that internet service is sometimes shut down for no reason. However, it is not always closed unnecessarily, sometimes it is closed for important reasons. The internet service was shut down on October 15 due to a technical glitch. In fact, this article has been circulating in my mind since that day. I intend to make a post about it.
There are mainly five SIM services in Bangladesh. These are:
- Grameenphone
- Banglalink
- Robi
- Teletalk
- Airtel
Grameen phone:
Grameenphone is one of the current SIM cards in Bangladesh. Most people use Grameen SIM cards. The current number of Grameenphone SIM card users is 7 crore 64 lakh 62 thousand. The current number of mobile phone users in Bangladesh is more than 16 crore. Grameen network system current 4G speed. Most people in rural areas use Grameen SIM. Grameenphone is a GSM based mobile phone service provider providing mobile telecommunication services in Bangladesh. Mohammad Yunus and Iqbal founded the company in 1997.
Grameenphone headquarters; GP House, Bashundhara, Dhaka. And the service provider area is Bangladesh. As per the 2018 report, the number of employees is 2442.
Banglalink:
The third largest hand phone network service provider in Bangladesh is owned by Vion of the Netherlands. In August 2006, Banglalink was the first to offer free speech to the people of Bangladesh from the BTTB connection line. As of December 2006, the number of Banglalink users was 3.67 million. Banglalink is headquartered in Gulshan, Dhaka. Banglalink's chief executive is Rashid Khan. Banglalink has been recognized as the fastest mobile network in Bangladesh for 3 years with 'okola', which provides very fast internet service. The number of Banglalink SIM users in Bangladesh was more than three crore in 2007. The purpose of establishing Banglalink service is to provide fast internet service in different countries of the world. The advantages of Banglalink SIM are more than the disadvantages. Occasionally Banglalink internet server shuts down, which is not the case in other SIMs. However, the network speed of Banglalink SIM is so high that almost everything can be done with 3G. Asharakhi Banglalink will provide better service in future.
Robi :
Robi is the most powerful and extensive network in present day Bangladesh. Robi provides services at 4.5G speeds. Which no other handset network in Bangladesh can offer. Robi means new experience in life. Robi is the second largest network system in Bangladesh. Robi owns shares of Axiata Group. Robi Network was established in 1997. Robi also has shares of Airtel SIM, meaning that the network system of Robi and Airtel SIM is integrated. For the first time in the history of Bangladesh, Robi, the second largest mobile phone service in Bangladesh, was launched by merging two different mobile phone services. As Robi SIM shares are in India, it is very easy to communicate with India through this SIM. Talking to other SIMs costs around 20 to 25 rupees per minute, but talking to Robi will cost the same amount in Bangladesh as talking in India. In other words, Robi's communication system is more powerful.
Teletalk:
Teletalk is a public limited company, which is 100% owned by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. That is, it is owned by all the people of Bangladesh. It provides network services throughout Bangladesh, as well as in remote areas of the Sundarbans and its network. As per the May 2021 report, Teletalk is the fourth largest mobile phone operator in Bangladesh with a current subscriber base of 58.2 million. Teletalk handset operator was established in 2004, its chief engineer Md. Shahabuddin. Teletalk is headquartered in Gulshan, Dhaka. Teletalk's package offers are very good as it is a government SIM. And to increase the attraction, a centenary package is being given on the occasion of Mujib centenary. A quiz was organized on the occasion of Mujib's centenary. It was implemented by Daraj and Teletalk. This quiz lasted for 100 days. The first 10 winners were given one Samsung Galaxy M40 mobile and 100 winners were given a 100 GB data bonus with a Teletalk SIM. At the end of the quiz, everyone was given a Teletalk SIM and a data pack of 15 GB, which was priced at 100 days.
Airtel:
Airtel is a handset service in India. Which later merged with Robi Company of Bangladesh to build a huge strong network system. However, the name Bangladesh Airtel Axiata was abolished and started its journey under the name Robi. The current service system is airborne.

The network system of every SIM card is good. But one of them has to be the best. The best network system is Banglalink. Banglalink runs better than Robi, Grameen at 3g speed. Banglalink also has a problem in the middle
