A Nigerian lady known as Kemi called off her wedding 3 days to the ceremony, because her Fiance refused to drop money for their wedding event planning. She said she has been the only making the expenses since their wedding date was fixed, that her Fiance hasn't drop any money concerning the wedding.
The young man told her that his money is in a fixed deposit, that he will refund her all she spent. The young lady said that she is not confident that she made the right choice, according to her, she visited a marriage counselor before she decided to call off the wedding.
She complained that the young guy has a nonchalant attitude towards it, that guy has not drop a penny ever since they started their wedding plan.
My question is, did she do the right thing❓ If you were to be in her position, will you do the same?
MY VIEW ON THIS MATTER
If this lady could handle all of her wedding plannings without the young man's help, it means her so called fiance is not capable of handling a family. There is a possibility that this man can leave all the family responsibility to the lady. A man should be ready to take full responsibility of everything concerning his family without calling unto his wife. A wise woman should be reasonable enough to know that she is supportive to her husband, she is called by God to be a help mate and not a liability. Marriage is all about understanding(two cannot walk together except they agree), love, care, God, good character.
