EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON
A poor man was once gifted a big mirror by his boss.
He loved it with his whole life. He didn’t joke with it. He saw it as a sign of his good stewardship and loyalty.
While he admired it for the sign it represented, his wife and children loved it because they always came to check themselves whenever they dressed or wanted going out.
On Sundays and other days when there were occasions, everyone in the big house would always leave his/her room and check how good they looked in the mirror. This sometimes made them go late to functions and activities.
At times, there was a queue.
Fortunately or unfortunately, while playing one day, one of the children in the house threw something that hit and broke the mirror into so many pieces.
The man was furious.
He simply shared the pieces of the broken mirror amongst his children and wife. Everyone had their share. The queue thing stopped.
Sometimes, we’re disappointed at some happenings in our lives. We cry and wail when things don’t go our way. We must stay calm and allow life happen. After all, every disappointment is a blessing/lesson.
Everything happens for a reason.
If the mirror has not broke , they’d continue queueing up to see a mirror every now and down.
