THE INTERNET NEVER FORGETS (AND FORGIVES).

“Ahhh, my data has finished again.” Keziah screamed in anger as she made for her wallet. Her intention was to take out some money and buy airtime so she would buy data for her phone. This was the 4th time she was buying data that week. She was a geek and a freak as far as the internet was concerned.

Keziah had left the university a year ago. As a result of her nonchalant attitude while in school, she graduated with very poor grades and needed to rewrite some papers. Instead of reading for her papers, she snapped and posted on the gram (instagram). To an extent, this became a hobby and a way of life. Not even her mum could stop her.

Her daily horarium  included waking up, eating food prepared by her mum, complaining about the salty nature of the food, and returning to her room to press her phone. She repeated these acts everyday without making a mistake.

While in her room, she stripped and wined, danced and snapped, then she posted on social media platforms and waited for the reactions of her fans. These gave her so much joy.

Only God knew how far her nudes went.

 Fast forward to 4 years later, Keziah has changed. She’s discovered that there is more to life than dancing half naked and posting on social media platforms. She now attends church services and helps her mum in the kitchen. While in Church, she prays devotedly and wishes God gave her a husband. This is her only prayer.

One fateful morning, she meets this good looking gentleman in Church. Their eyes can’t seize to meet as they sing praises in Church. Kizito is  almost every girl's dream man. They talk after the service, exchange contacts and the rest is history.

Today is supposed to be their engagement day. Everything is set for the big day. There’s plenty to eat and drink. All her friends are neatly dressed and dancing. She’s so excited. She can’t wait to be a Mrs. But something is wrong. Kizito and his family are yet to arrive. He was supposed to arrive 30minutes ago. What’s wrong?

This is what happened: A friend of Kizito discovered a video of Keziah years back and showed Kizito. He searched the internet and discovered more. He’s furious. His wife to be’s naked pictures and videos are all over the internet. He can’t take it.

He quietly called off the engagement and wedding!!!

It’s wrong to think what you post on social media doesn’t matter. A good number of people think people are a representation of what they post on the internet. You could lose a job because of a very careless tweet.
