Huge market for cows and goats on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha

Hello friends, how are you all? I hope you are all very well, I am also very well with your prayers and the grace of the Creator.

And a few days later, that is, the holy Eid al-Adha on July 10. Eid al-Adha is a big time of animal sacrifice, so both the buyers and sellers of different animals are spending their busy time at the present time. Especially those who will buy and sell cows and goats are more busy now.

We have many big hats in Sirajganj district for buying and selling cows and goats, of which our Ratankandi Hat in Kazipur Upazila is the largest and one of them. This hat is the largest in our Sirajganj district.

Ratankandi Hat is located in our Kazipur district. This Hat is held once a week. This Hat is held every Wednesday of the week which is why this Hat is called Wednesday Hat. People from far and wide come to this market to buy cows and goats.

Due to the fact that it is a Sunday, July 10, the last haat of Ratankandi Hat was on Wednesday before Eid. Due to this, many cows and goats came to Ratankandi Hat yesterday. Ratankandi Hat is a huge cow and goat market. Cows and goats of different sizes are available in this market.

Buyers buy their favorite cows and goats from this market. The buyers and sellers in the market yesterday were eye-catching, everyone sold their cows and goats yesterday and almost everyone bought cows and goats from this market yesterday for sacrifice.

I walked around part of the hut yesterday, just went to where the big cows are kept, didn’t enter any other place, just looked up. Yesterday, the price of the biggest cow is being demanded at one million rupees.

I asked the price of a small cow, the seller of the cow asked for 55 thousand rupees, the price of cow and goat was a little higher at the beginning of the market yesterday but the price went down a little in the afternoon. The number of cows in the market was high yesterday.

Cows have not been purchased for our sacrifice yet, my elder brother lives in Dhaka, he will actually buy cows then.
