Many diseases are transmitted by mosquitoes

Dear friends, how are you all? I hope you are well, I am well too. Dear friends, today I will discuss some of the mosquitoes among you and show you some pictures of mosquitoes, the pictures were taken in Macro mode of my SAMSUNG A52 5G mobile camera.

Mosquitoes are a type of small fly species. There are about three thousand species of mosquitoes in the world. Most of these species suck the blood of mammals. There are also many species of mosquitoes that absorb the blood of vertebrates, such as mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. There are also species of mosquitoes that absorb blood from the body of the fish. However, the animals that absorb blood from the body are much smaller than the body of those animals.

Male mosquitoes survive only one day, and if male mosquitoes survive more than one day, their condition becomes critical. And female mosquitoes usually live for 6 to 8 days.

Some of these mosquitoes are contagious, transmitting the virus to about 100 of the nearly 3,000 species of mosquitoes. These mosquitoes transmit diseases like malaria, dengue, filariasis, yellow fever, Zika virus, chikungunya etc. Research by scientists has shown that mosquitoes spread about twenty such diseases.

Mosquito-borne diseases account for the largest number of deaths per year from insect attacks worldwide. To this end, World Mosquito Day is observed on 20th August every year to raise awareness among the people about mosquito borne diseases.

Mosquitoes are born out of dirt, garbage, so let's keep our surroundings clean. I make arrangements to avoid mosquitoes while sleeping at night.
