আমরা সবাই পড়ালেখা শেষ করে চাকরির জন্য ইন্টারভিউ দিয়ে থাকি। এই ইন্টারভিউ এর মাধ্যমেই আমাদের সরকারি বা কোন কোম্পানিতে চাকরি হয়। বর্তমানে সরকারি চাকরি পাওয়া খুব কঠিন। এই জন্য অধিকাংশ মানুষ কোম্পানির চাকরির ইন্টারভিউ দেয়। এবং কোম্পানির চাকরি নেওয়ার চেষ্টা করে।
আজকে এক আশ্চর্য ইন্টারভিউ এর কথা আপনাদের সাথে শেয়ার করব।
কোন এক কোম্পানিতে জিএম পদে লোক নেওয়ার ঘোষণা দেওয়া হল, চাকরির জন্য অনেকে আবেদন করল। চাকরির ইন্টারভিউ এর তারিখ নির্ধারণ করা বল।
ইন্টারভিউ এর দিন কোম্পানির বস একটা পদ্ধতি অবলম্বন করল, কোম্পানির দ্বিতীয় তলায় ইন্টারভিউ এর ব্যবস্থা করা হল এবং নিচের তলায় তার বাবাকে একটা বস্তা নিয়ে দ্বাড় করিয়ে দিল।
ইন্টারভিউ শুরু হওয়ার আগে সবাই আসতে লাগল। প্রথমে যে ব্যক্তি আসল তার কাছে, নিচে দ্বাড়িয়ে থাকা বৃদ্ধ লোকটি বস্তা উপরে ওঠানো জন্য সাহায্য চাইল, কিন্তু লোকটা তাকে কোন সাহায্য করল না, এরপর একে একে অনেকে আসতে লাগল ইন্টারভিউ দেওয়ার জন্য, বৃদ্ধ লোকটি সবার কাছেই সাহায্য চাইল, কিন্তু কেউ তাকে সাহায্য করল না।
কিছুক্ষণ পর মেহেদী নামের এক ছেলে ইন্টারভিউ দেওয়ার জন্য আসল, বৃদ্ধ লোক মেহেদীর কাছে সাহায্য চাইল, মেহেদী সাথে সাথে বৃদ্ধ লোকটির বস্তা নিজের মাথায় নিয়ে উপরে উঠিয়ে দিল।
সবাই ইন্টারভিউ দেওয়ার জন্য অপেক্ষা করছে, ইন্টারভিউ শুরু হবে এমন সময়, ঐ বৃদ্ধ লোকটি ফ্লোরে পড়ে যায়, ইন্টারভিউ দিতে আসা কেউ বৃদ্ধ লোকটির সাহায্যে এগিয়ে আসল না, কারণ বৃদ্ধ লোকটির শরীর এবং জামা কাপড় অনেক ময়লা যুক্ত ছিল।
মেহেদী আবারও বৃদ্ধ লোকটির সাহায্যে এগিয়ে আসে, বৃদ্ধ লোকটির মুখে পানি দেয়, তার হাত ধরে বসিয়ে দেয়। মেহেদী বৃদ্ধ লোকটিকে জিজ্ঞেস করে, এখন কেমন লাগছে? লোকটি বলে, আমি এখন ঠিক আছি।
ইন্টারভিউ শুরু হয় একে একে সবাইকে ইন্টারভিউ এর জন্য ডাকা হয়। সবার ইন্টারভিউ শেষ হয়, এবার ঘোষণা করা হয়, ইন্টারভিউ এর ফলাফল এখনই দেওয়া হবে।
কিছুক্ষণ পর বস বাহিরে আসেন, বসকে দেখে সবাই সম্মান করতে লাগল। এবার বস বলতে থাকেন, আপনাদের সবারই শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা আছে, এবং সেই অনুযায়ী সবাই চাকরিটা পাওয়ার যোগ্য, কিন্তু আপনাদের কারো মাঝে মানবিক যোগ্যতা নাই।
আমি আমার কোম্পানির জন্য এমন একজনকে খুঁজছিলাম, যার মধ্যে মানবিক যোগ্যতা আছে, যে মানুষের উপকার করে, যার মধ্যে কোন অহংকার নাই, যে আমার এই কোম্পানির সব কর্মচারীদের সম্মান করবে। আর এমন লোক আমি পেয়ে গেছি, তিনি হলেন, মেহেদী সাহেব।
বস আরো বলতে থাকেন, যে বৃদ্ধ লোকটি নিচে থেকে বস্তা উঠানোর কাজে আপনাদের থেকে সাহায্য চেয়েছেন, এবং উপরে উঠে অসুস্থ হয়ে পরেছেন, তিনি আমার বাবা। আমি আপনাদের পরীক্ষা করার জন্য তাকে ব্যবহার করছি।
মেহেদী অনেক খুশি হয় এবং বসের সাথে হাত মিলান। বৃদ্ধ লোকটির পায়ে সালাম করে বলতে থাকেন, চাচা আমার জন্য দোয়া করবেন, আমি যেন একম ভাবেই এই কোম্পানির এবং সমস্ত মানুষের উপকার করতে পারি।
