The Sun - Not the Man-Made CO2 Emissions – Is Behind Global Warming, a New Study Finds

A new peer-reviewed paper, produced by over two dozen scientists from across the globe, says that the UN’s Assessment Report (AR6) does not adequately show the situation with global warming. The UN report says that man-made CO2 emissions were to blame, but the new peer-reviewed paper says otherwise. It says that the sun and the role of solar energy should explain the increased temperatures in recent decades.

The United Nations has been accused of systematic bias and even fraud, for constructing their own narrative regarding climate change, and concluding in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report what supports that narrative.

Global Warming May Be Caused by the Sun?

A new study, conducted by several fellow scientists from all around the world, challenged the UN report, which stated that human emissions of carbon dioxide were the main cause of global warming. The new paper actually revealed that the UN's report was premature and failed to explain solar energy's role in the increased temperatures.

The peer-reviewed study shows that the UN's conclusions were narrow and there was no mention of the huge role of the sun at all. The UN was accused of displaying deliberate and systemic bias, and for using different data to come up with the opposite conclusion. According to the scientists, the UN has decided to only include facts and data that would corroborate their chosen narrative.

Why the Bias – Or Is It a Deliberate Fraud?

Some of the scientists, part of the new research crew, believe that it may be due to confirmation bias, known among scientists, who consider data sets shared by their peers that support their own bias.

However, Willie Soon, PhD, one of the study authors, suggests otherwise. He believes that this is not a bias, but a deliberate fraud. He said that ignoring the new peer-reviewed research, which clearly showed that the sun could be an important factor that could actually explain the thermometer data changes, the UN thinks that everyone would blindly believe them and disregard everything else. Soon echoed his concerns, saying that it was time for this abuse of science by the IPCC to be stopped.

What Do Other Scientists Have to Say?

Other scientists, not involved in the mentioned new research, shared their scepticism of the dominant UN narrative and explicitly supported Soon and others' work, saying that it was probably the best around.

Howard Brady, PhD, explained that the UN was still predicting storms when they were declining, accelerating sea levels when that didn't even exist and whatnot. John Christy, a distinguished professor at the University of Alabama, agreed with Soon, pointing out a different misguidance on the UN's part, this time related to the model simulations. Christy shared that the models certainly didn’t agree with each other regarding the future and UN’s reports were not matching the real-world situation.

UN’s Response to the Accusations

The UN responded. Its Communications Chief Jonathan Lynn explained that the UN’s new 2021 paper may have challenged the underlying conclusion that human emissions of CO2 were responsible for the warming in recent decades, but if the same conclusion is drawn in the next assessment, one cannot completely overturn that conclusion based on thousands of other pieces of research.
