Bangladesh got off to a great start in the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup Qualifiers. Coach Golam Rabbani's side defeated Turkmenistan 6-0 at the Jalan Bisar Stadium in Singapore on Wednesday.

Bangladesh will face hosts Singapore in their last match in Group D on Sunday.
In the previous day's press conference, Turkmenistan accepted Bangladesh as a major opponent. On the other hand, Bangladesh coach Golam Rabbani said to respect the opponent and play their normal game.

When the referee decided to award the penalty, Surbhi Akand Preeti's successful spot kick increased the gap to Bangladesh (5-0). Bangladesh got another penalty in the 82nd minute. Thirsna (6-0) took advantage of that opportunity to collect the sixth goal.
