After early positive results, James was out for eight weeks with a knee injury in a match against AC Milan on October 11, casting doubt on his ability to travel to Qatar with the Three Lions. James has been wearing a knee brace for four weeks, but the Evening Standard is gradually loosening the brace and says it is premature.
James is currently in Dubai to help her recover. He has made good progress so far and is now believed to be confident in his ability to make teams.
