Fenway Sports Group is preparing to find a Liverpool buyer.
The presentation was prepared as the US group retained Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley to support potential sales. "There have been many changes of ownership and rumors of changes of ownership at EPL clubs recently and we certainly receive constant inquiries about Fenway Sports Group's ownership of Liverpool," Athletic said in a statement.

"FSG has always received interest from third parties who want to become shareholders in Liverpool. FSG previously said they would consider new shareholders on the right terms if it was in Liverpool's club interests.
"FSG is committed to Liverpool's success on and off the pitch."

FSG purchased Liverpool from George Gillett Jr. in October 2010 and took control of Liverpool. And Tom Hicks, the group will oversee significant changes on the pitch and behind the scenes, including significant investment in the new training complex and Anfield upgrade. Under the leadership of John W. Henry, FSG has received much criticism in recent years. Attempts to brand Liverpool's name have met with fierce opposition, as have plans to start a Super League in 2021.
Chairman Tom Werner said in May that FSG would still leave Liverpool, although he still has long-term plans.
